Ice & Lights Opens For Season With New Photo Ops In Alexandria
Ice & Lights, the Winter Village has new photo opps this year as well as returning displays.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — In between family dinners and holiday shopping, holiday lights attractions can provide some fun for the whole family. Among the holiday lights attractions is Ice & Lights, the Winter Village at Cameron Run Regional Park, opening Friday for the season.
This seasonal attraction features holiday lights displays as well as optional ice skating. The Ice & Lights Winter Village is open from Nov. 19, 2021 to Jan. 2, 2022, and ice skating only will continue from Jan. 8 to Feb. 27.
Various lights displays are available at Ice & Lights provide for photo ops. New this year are giant holiday light bulbs, a narwhal and iceberg, and mermaid family photo opp. Others include design stars, a reindeer family, ice skaters, LOVE letters, giant wreath, 20-foot walk through tree, polar bears, 3D sleigh, sing to me interactive tree, penguins, interactive orb field, color changing trees and elf scavenger hunt. Concessions and Dippin' Dots will be available for purchase, and a retail kiosk will be up on prime nights and weekends.

Tickets should be purchased in advance to guarantee entry, and ice skating tickets must be bought in advance due to limited capacity. Ice skating admission includes skate rentals. Tickets cost $9.19 for the Winter Village and $22.03 for the Winter Village and ice skating, including fees.
Ice & Lights, the Winter Village at Cameron Run Regional Park is one of three holiday attractions run by NOVA Parks. The other two, Bull Run Festival of Lights and Meadowlark Winter Walk of Lights, are open for the season as well. Cameron Run Regional Park is located at 4001 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, VA.
