Inaugural Barley & Music Fest Arrives in Alexandria

A new hops, beats and bites themed event will debut in Alexandria when the 1st Annual Barley & Music Fest takes place on September 17.

(Alexandria, VA) — A new hops, beats and bites themed event will debut in Alexandria when the 1st Annual Barley & Music Fest takes place on Saturday, September 17th in the Carlyle District in Old Town. The new festival will take place from noon to 6 p.m., transforming the John Carlyle Square Park with craft brews from artisanal breweries, live entertainment, and food vendors.

The event will kick off with live entertainment from bands Down Wilson, Girl X and Tequila Mockingbird. The event is free to attend, but the cost for beer samplings are $15 for 5 drink tickets and will include a custom tasting glass. Attendees who wish to purchase additional tastes, may purchase them at $1.00 per ticket.
