Alexandria Police Arrest Juvenile In Connection With Shooting Incident

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Alexandria Police Department arrested a juvenile in connection with gunshots fired on Sunday that damaged property in the city, the department said Tuesday.

At about 3:15 p.m. Sunday, police officers responded to a call for service in the 3300 block of South 28th Street, just off King Street and near the border with Fairfax County.

On arrival, police found evidence that shots had been fired and discovered property damage in the area. No injuries were reported, the police said.

Shortly after the incident, police arrested a juvenile in connection with the incident.

The Alexandria Police Department said it is still investigating the incident.
