Juvenile Pedestrian Struck By Car, Others Nearly Hit In Alexandria
Alexandria Police say a juvenile was injured in a hit-and-run crash, while others at a school were nearly hit by the driver.

ALEXANDRIA, VA ā A juvenile was struck in a hit-and-run crash, and other juveniles were nearly hit at a school Wednesday, according to Alexandria Police.
The crash happened around 3:02 p.m. near the intersection of Montgomery and N. Patrick Streets. Police say a 15-year-old pedestrian was struck by a Penske truck. The teen has non-life-threatening injuries.
After the hit-and-run, police say the driver drove to the back of George Washington Middle School and nearly struck children. A school resource officer drew his weapon to stop the driver from driving in the direction of students, according to police. The driver then left the scene. George Washington Middle School was under secure the building status for about 10 minutes due to the hit-and-run.

The suspect vehicle was found unoccupied at the Eisenhower Connector. Police have not made an arrest.
