Macy's Robber At Large; Police Ask Public for Tips
The heist occurred on Jan. 24 at the Macy's store in Landmark Mall, say Alexandria Police.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Alexandria Police Department is asking the public for tips in tracking down a young man who stole cash from the Macy's department store in Landmark Mall.
The police released surveillance photos Tuesday of the man, who was wearing black clothing at the time of the robbery. It took place at 2:33 p.m. on Jan. 24, when the robber pushed a cashier and stole cash, the police said.
The man is described as a black male with a light complexion, 18 to 24 years old, and cleanshaven with short hair and "bushy" eyebrows. He is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 150 to 160 pounds.
