Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash On King Street: Police
No others were involved in the crash, Alexandria Police say.

A man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on King Street early Friday morning.
Police responded to the fatal crash around 2:37 a.m. in the 4300 block of King Street. Detectives found the driver was traveling eastbound and crashed into a light pole. Victor Fugitt, 34, of Haymarket, died at the scene. No other people had been involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Alexandria Police ask witnesses or people with information to call Detective Loren King at 703.746.6689.

The crash temporarily closed King Street in both directions between North Hampton Place and Park Center Drive overnight. The road has reopened.
