Man Fatally Shot, Teen Wounded In Alexandria Shootings: Police
A man was fatally shot in an Alexandria apartment, and a teenager there was wounded by a gunshot, police said Thursday
ALEXANDRIA, VA — A man was fatally shot in an Alexandria apartment Wednesday night, and a teenager there was wounded by a gunshot, police said.
The shooting happened about 6:30 p.m. in the 900 block of North Patrick Street, according to a news release from the Alexandria Police Department.
Officers found a man and a boy in an apartment suffering from gunshot wounds; both were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The man later died from his injury; an autopsy will determine the cause and manner of death.

Authorities have not released the names of the victims, their relationship if any, or shared what led up to the shootings. Police have also not said if they are seeking a suspect in the case.
The police department is increasing patrols in the area and talking to residents.
