Materialized Magic: Fiber Art Workshop
Join Ericka Cleveland and Stacy Cantrell's community art project for crocheting, knitting, and felting.
“Materialized Magic” is a community art project that provides free lessons, for people of all levels of experience, in crocheting, knitting, and felting. Erika Cleveland and Stacy Cantrell launched their CRAVE-sponsored “Materialized Magic” project in 2015.
Participants help create a magical “Yarn Bomb” habitat and also have a chance to be featured with the key artists. After the sessions, the leftover materials and supplies will be donated to the community through nursing homes, community centers, and non-profit organizations.
The Target Gallery will be hosting the workshop on Thursdays: February 4, April 7, and May 5 from 6-9 pm.
