Mice Droppings, Roach Activity At Alexandria Restaurant

ALEXANDRIA, VA — The City of Alexandria regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations from August inspections in Old Town and around Alexandria. Among the violations were mice droppings, roach activity in the food prep area and flies in dish area, customer bar area and kitchen at TGI Fridays.
