Mommy and Me Total Body Workout!
After giving birth have you ever asked the question: "How can I achieve a quality workout AND have my baby with me?" Well, now you can.
At Kangatraining, new moms take a page out of the kangaroo playbook. While they exercise, they each carry their baby—not in a pouch, exactly, but in an ergonomic carrier. The baby’s weight enhances the full-body workout, which builds cardio endurance, flexibility, and the strength necessary to carry a bag full of baby essentials. Kangatraining is a complete workout during which both cardiovascular endurance/flexibility and muscular capacity/strength are enhanced. Unlike traditional exercise classes, Moms need not worry about finding a babysitter or minding an unsettled baby during class because the babies are worn on them and get to be part of the action! As well as the physical benefits, the opportunity to meet other local Moms in a fun, relaxed environment boosts their emotional well-being. Plus, each workout doubles as bonding time. Every movement of the program has been choreographed to ensure each baby’s safety, and the classes are designed to be accessible for any new mom with a clean bill of health from her doctor.
