Motorcycle Crash Injures Driver Near King Street Metro In Alexandria
A single-vehicle motorcycle crash was reported Thursday morning, prompting police to close a road near the Metro.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A motorcyclist was injured in a crash Thursday morning, prompting a road closure near the King Street Metro.
According to Alexandria Police, the single-vehicle motorcycle crash happened around 7:51 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Callahan Drive. Police believe the motorcycle was heading west on Callahan Drive when the driver lost control and crashed.
The driver, a 25-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Callahan Drive was temporarily closed between King and Duke Streets.
