New Gallery Exhibit at the Athenaeum: Wings From Chains

From February 4 – March 13, the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association will present WINGS FROM CHAINS: An open call competition inviting artists to consider women’s roles and responsibilities in society – yesterday, today, and tomorrow – and to explore the transformation from oppression to liberation, shame to pride, or drudgery into art.
