North Old Town Project Tours Offered By Citizens Association

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Residents interested in learning about projects in the North Old Town area of Alexandria can join a free tour this Thursday.

The North Old Town Independent Citizens Association (NOTICe), is sponsoring the self-guided development tour featuring seven projects. At each site, a development team representative will be on hand to speak about the project and answer questions. The tour is free and open to all from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23. Those attending the tour are asked to RSVP.

The seven project sites are:

• Potomac River Generating Station, by Hilco Redevelopment Partners
• Muse, by the Carr Companies
• TideLock, by Community Three and Whitaker Investments
• Venue, by the Carr Companies
• 801 N. Fairfax Street, by Abramson Properties
• The Alexan, by TCR
• 901 N. Pitt Street, by Carr Companies

An event map and information sheet will be available to pick up at St Elmo’s Coffee Pub, 529 Montgomery Street, starting at 5:15 p.m. on Sept. 23 or during the Old Town North Farmers Market (3 p.m. to 7 p.m.) at Montgomery Park, 901 N. Royal Street.

The tour will be followed by a NOTICe social hour and membership meeting at St. Elmo's Coffee Pub from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. NOTICe members will receive a complimentary drink ticket.
