Old Town Pub Crawl Adjusts For Pandemic

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Around the same time Alexandria's birthday celebration happens, Old Town restaurants have collaborated on a pub crawl for the past six years. Due to the pandemic, this year's Old Town Pub Crawl will feature virtual activities and pickup specials.

Held by Port City Brewing Company, the pub crawl features eight restaurants in Old Town. Unlike the traditional one-day pub crawl, each restaurant will have a featured day when customers can pick up a Pub Crawl Special. The special includes food and Port City swag. Port City is also selling a Port City Pub Crawl T-shirt on its online store. Restaurants will be featured by Port City on Facebook Live at 5:30 p.m. on their featured day.

• Chadwicks: July 15
• Fish Market Restaurant: July 16
• Union Street Public House: July 19, Facebook Live on July 20
• Vola's Dockside Grill & Hi-Tide Lounge: July 22
• Bugsy's Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar: July 23
• Pizzeria Paradiso: July 29 (Pub Crawl Package pickup at Port City)
• Daniel O'Connell's Irish Restaurant and Bar: July 30
• After Party at Murphy’s Grand Irish Pub: Date to be determined in August
