Old Town Restaurant Closes Its Doors Monday
Items from restaurant are for sale at online auction.
It was last call early Monday when the doors closed for good at Old Town Alexandria’s Flying Fish Restaurant. Yelp users have given the eatery a thumbs up for their sushi, drinks, karaoke and fun atmosphere.
Monique said on Yelp: “I have gone to this place about a million times!! I still love it. It has a divey feel but has awesome sushi and Drinks. staff is really laid back and friendly but still does a great job with their service. That is hard to come by.”
The owners are selling all of their decor and restaurant equipment at an online-only auction.

The former sushi restaurant at 815 King St., is now closed for good and selling everything from sushi display cases to 55-inch flat screen TVs.
Other items up for sale include bar stools, fish tanks, lighting and tons of other fish-themed decor from the beer taps to the tables. The auction is online and available for bidding now here and the preview for potential buyers to come check out the items is Friday, April from noon to 4 p.m. The online auction will begin to close Monday, April 27.
