Suspected Road Rage Shooting: Man Arrested In Alexandria
Update: A man has been arrested after a "road rage" shooting that seriously injured a woman in Alexandria.

(Updated 3:50 p.m.) ALEXANDRIA, VA — A man has been arrested in what Alexandria Police believe was a road rage-caused shooting at the 4600 block of Eisenhower Avenue Wednesday morning.
Just before 8 a.m., a driver shot at another car. A 33-year-old Bladensburg woman was seriously injured after being shot in the upper body. Another person was in the car with the woman but is uninjured.
Maryland State Police took the suspect into custody Wednesday afternoon. Ernest Stickell, 58, of Mechanicsville, Maryland, has been charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Authorities searched the area after the unknown suspect fled in the car. Police had believed he left Alexandria following the shooting. The Virginia State Police, St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Office and Fairfax County Police also assisted with the investigation.
According to reports, the victim's car appeared to have bullet holes in the windshield and a side window broken.
