Open House Wednesday for BB&T Exhibit of Alexandria 'Living Legends'

The bank will host an exhibition of portraits of African American and women "Living Legends of Alexandria."

BB&T Bank will host an exhibition of portraits of African American and women Living Legends of Alexandria at its Old Town branches. The portraits will be on display through Jan. 2 at 1717 King St. and 300 S. Washington St. The branches are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays.

The bank will host an open house for the exhibition Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at its branch at 1717 King St.

Speaking of the collaborative effort between BB&T and Living Legends, BB&T vice president Tina Townsend said “BB&T is honored and privileged to display the Living Legends Collection in both of our Old Town locations.
