On the Roads

As of 7:46 a.m., WTOP Traffic reported a crash on westbound Route 50 in Fairfax County after the Fairfax County Parkway.

As of 7:45 a.m., WTOP Traffic reported a vehicle fire impacting Martin Luther King Jr Avenue SE both ways between Raleigh Place SE and Malcolm X Avenue SE in Washington, DC.

As of 7:43 a.m., WTOP Traffic reported an overturned vehicle affecting H Street NE in both directions between Florida Avenue NE and 14th Street NE in Washington, DC.

As of 7:43 a.m., a disabled vehicle may cause delays on southbound I-495 south of Georgetown Pike in Fairfax County. The southbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 7:37 a.m., a crash was reported on southbound I-95 south of Warrenton Road in Stafford County. The south exit 133A narrows.

As of 7:36 a.m., a disabled vehicle may cause delays on northbound I-95 near Franconia Road/Old Keene Mill Road in Fairfax County. The northbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 7:35 a.m., delays are possible on northbound I-95 north of Plank Road in Spotsylvania County due to a disabled tractor trailer. The center lane and right lane are closed.

As of 7:29 a.m., a disabled vehicle may cause delays on southbound I-95 east of the Springfield interchange in Fairfax County. The southbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 7:21 a.m., a disabled vehicle may cause delays on the reversible I-95 Express Lanes near Cardinal Drive in Prince William County. The northbound left shoulder is closed.

As of 7:03 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on northbound I-95 south of Courthouse Road in Stafford County. The northbound right shoulder is closed.

On the Rails/Bus

On the Green Line, delays are possible in both directions due to speed restrictions between Greenbelt and Hyattsville Crossing.

Blue Line service is not operating south of Reagan National Airport through Nov. 5 due to Metro's Blue and Yellow Line construction. Shuttle buses and other alternatives are available. There is no Yellow Line service, with Blue and Green Line service replacing Yellow Line service.

Police activity at Chesapeake Street SE and 4th Street may cause delays or detours on A6 and A8 Metrobuses.

Virginia Railway Express Train 310 on the Fredericksburg Line was delayed 10 minutes due to speed restrictions.

Weather

The day will be partly sunny, with a high near 72 and wind gusts as high as 20 mph. At night, showers are likely mainly after 5 a.m. and mostly cloudy with a low around 60.
