Fire at Bertucci's Restaurant: No Word on Damage

The 700 and 800 blocks of King Street were closed Thursday morning due to a structure fire in Old Town Alexandria.

A City spokesman said Thursday morning that a stove fire at Bertucci’s, at 725 King Street, was the cause of the fire.

A person who answered the phone at the restaurant Thursday said he was not able to comment on the fire or what impact it had on the business. A phone call to a number given as the corporate office went to a recording, saying that voice mail was not set up.
