Did you happen to catch the George Washington Masonic National Memorial Friday night lit up in blue lights?
The blue lighting was part of Project Blue Light — shining a light on law enforcement on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day on Friday.
The Alexandria Police Department, Alexandria Sheriff’s Office, Concerns of Police Survivors, National Fraternal Order of Police, Alexandria Fire Department and others participated in marking the special day.
