Pickle, Kimchi Vendor At DC Area Farmers Markets To Close
Number 1 Sons, a vendor selling pickled and fermented products, will close after its last farmers market dates.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Pickles and kimchi from Number 1 Sons will no longer be offered at Northern Virginia and DC farmers markets after August.
Alexandria-based Number 1 Sons announced it will close, and its last farmers markets will be on Aug. 28 and 29. The vendor has provided pickled and fermented products such as pickles and kimchi to DC area farmers markets since 2012.
The business attributed the closure to being "unable to continue operating in our current space."
