Polar Plunge Raises Funds for Alexandria Police Youth Camp

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Officers from the Alexandria Police Department took part in the YMCA/Alexandria Police Youth Camp’s Camp Kekoka Polar Bear Plunge “Freezin’ for a Reason.”

ACPD says $6,300 was raised for the annual summer camp. Last summer, more than 150 children traveled from Alexandria to Kilmarnock, Virginia to enjoy a week at YMCA/APYC Camp Kekoka.
