Police Make Arrest for Possession of a Weapon on School Property
Alexandria Police say school notified them of reports about a student, 16, who brought a weapon to school.
The Alexandria Police Department has arrested a 16 year-old male for Possession of a Weapon on School Property, according to a news release from police.
The juvenile was a student at Bishop Ireton High School.
Police detectives were notified by Bishop Ireton administration of reports about a student who brought a weapon to school.

A thorough investigation led to the arrest of the juvenile early this afternoon. The juvenile did not make any threats toward any student or the school.
