Police: Stabbing, Attempted Robbery Suspect Arrested Tuesday

84-year-old victim was stabbed when he interrupted a burglary Jan. 9, according to Alexandria Police.

A suspect has been arrested in the stabbing of a 84-year-old Alexandria man earlier this month, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

Horace White, 52, of Washington, D.C., is charged with two counts of Abduction, two counts of Robbery, Burglary, Malicious Wounding, and Carjacking.

Around 4 p.m. Jan. 9, police responded to the 400 block of Jackson Place for the report of a stabbing. An elderly couple had entered their home and interrupted a burglary. The victim was stabbed by the suspect.

In cooperation with the Metro Transit Police Department, detectives conducted a thorough investigation and arrested White on Tuesday evening, according to a release.
