Quick Update on Efforts to Repair Mr. Willie's Yellow House & Ms. Francine's Walkway
Updates for youcaring.com/williesyellowhouse and youcaring.com/francinesporch fundraisers to benefit two Alexandria community members.
Parents of Helen Day Preschool Academy are grateful to announce good fundraising progress for the projects to repair Mr. Willie’s yellow house on Princess Street and fix Ms. Francine’s walkway for her daughter’s wheelchair. On Saturday, November 5th, a small group will be grilling out back and brushing a few cans of donated deck stain onto the fence behind the yellow house. Stop on by if you want to say hello, grab a bite or lend a hand. Just walk down the Payne Street alley behind Helen Day Preschool Academy and you’ll hear us, starting at about 11:30.
We’re also holding a bake sale Sunday, November 13th from 1pm-3pm in front of Blown Salon on King Street for Ms. Francine. Blown Salon in Old Town is located at 1002 King St, Alexandria, VA 22314. Please come out, pick up a treat and say hi!
