Raw Meat Stored Over Prepared Food: Alexandria Restaurant Violations
Health inspectors found an employee item stored over clean dishes and more at Alexandria restaurants.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The City of Alexandria regularly conducts health inspections for local restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.
“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.
Here are some of the violations around Alexandria from recent inspections in late May. Among the violations are employee items stored above clean dishes at Old Town's Namaste. This violation was corrected during the inspection.
