The Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities is excited to host a free "Remember the Titans" Outdoor Family Movie Night, which will be held on Wednesday, July 27 from 6:30 - 10:30 pm/ The location for the event is the George Washington Middle School Fields, 1005 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22302. In case of inclement weather, the movie will be shown indoors in the gymnasium.
This is a family event in which attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet and get autographs from members of the '71 Original TC Williams Titans team members. We will also have coaches and players from the current TC Williams and Alexandria Titans Recreation League Football teams on hand. There will be a free football clinic for youth ages 7 & up from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Families may bring their low lounge chairs and picnic baskets/blankets out to the field and enjoy a night under the stars together. Food and drinks from Rocklands Bar-B-ue and DC Slices will be for sale.
