Rescue Dog From Old Town Alexandria Found (Update)
UPDATE: A foster dog that went missing in Old Town Alexandria has been found.

UPDATE: Pepon has been found.
ALEXANDRIA, VA—An Alexandria resident is searching for a rescue dog that went missing in Old Town on Friday, June 28.
Pepon (prnounced Peh-pawn) is a 3-year-old Brittany dog with an orange and white roan coat. Owner Tina Leone says he's been on the run since 8 a.m. Friday. She lives on Alfred Street and says the dog was seen near Alfred Street Baptist Church and the bike path between Braddock Road and King Street.

Pepon was an abused hunting dog before Leone rescued and began fostering him three weeks ago. He's described as a gentle but timid dog. Anyone who spots him is asked not to chase him and see if he will come to them.
The owner is out of town and has a friend pet setting. If you see Pepon, call Alex at 316- 807-5726.
