Rideshare Driver Charged With Aggravated Sexual Battery In Alexandria

An Alexandria resident who was driving a rideshare passenger is facing a sexual battery charge, according to police.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A rideshare driver has been charged with the sexual assault of a passenger, according to Alexandria Police.

Police say the assault happened on July 19 in the 5000 block of Seminary Road. The suspect is a rideshare driver had picked up a passenger.

Ahmed Reshad Nasseri, 33, of Alexandria, is charged with aggravated sexual battery.

Police are seeking information on the assault to be reported to Detective Abigail Fillinger at 703-746-6677.
