Riverside Taco Company Opens At Alexandria Waterfront

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Riverside Taco Company, an outdoor patio restaurant with alcohol offerings, is the latest addition to the Alexandria waterfront next to the Torpedo Factory. The grand opening was held on June 21.

Riverside Taco Company is a project of Alexandria Restaurant Partners, which has numerous eateries around the city. The operation is run out of an airstream trailer with outdoor patio seating for guests.

The menu was created by the ARP team and Corporate Operations Chef Santiago Lopez, who hails from Bogotá, Colombia. Taco varieties range from house chorizo and potatos, beef alambre, pork belly al pastor and Caribbean carnitas to the vegetarian poblano and corn esquites. Other menu options include snacks, bowls and sides. If you're craving a breakfast variety, eggs can be added to any dish all day. The drink menu covers a few draft beers, sangria, frozen margarita and other cocktails.

Given the eatery's location near the Torpedo Factory, the restaurant operates alongside working artists. Guests can browse artwork available for purchase.
