Awestruck Little Girl Dances With Michelle Obama (Video)

WASHINGTON, DC — A photo of a 2-year-old girl staring awestruck at the new portrait of former First Lady Michelle Obama went viral over the weekend. On Tuesday, little Parker Curry got to dance with Mrs. O herself — and it was all captured on video.

Parker was photographed staring in awe of the portrait at the National Portrait Gallery in D.C. on Thursday, and the world immediately fell in love with the adorable tot.

The first lady apparently took notice of Parker, and on Tuesday, she posted a video to her Instagram account of both of them getting their groove on to Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off."

"Parker, I'm so glad I had the chance to meet you today (and for the dance party)!" she wrote. "Keep on dreaming big for yourself...and maybe one day I'll proudly look up at a portrait of you!" Parker hails from right here in D.C. Her mother, Jessica Curry, told the Washington Post that Obama's staff invited her a couple of days ago to Michelle Obama's office for a 45-minute visit.

Little Parker has big dreams. When asked by a CBS reporter if she'd like to be first lady or president, she immediately said, "president."
