Santa Train 2018 Tickets Already Selling Out In Alexandria

If you believe people start thinking about Christmas early, you're not wrong. Halloween has yet to come, and tickets for the popular Santa Train from Alexandria are already selling out.

The 14th annual train ride held by Whistle Stop Toy & Hobby is a popular tradition, featuring a ride from Alexandria's King Street Station to Manassas and back on four dates.

When arriving in Manassas, visitors will leave the train for about a half hour. During that time they can keep warm with some hot chocolate and cookies. Hooray for Books will have a story time in the station and Santa will hold a Q&A session on the station platform.

Here are the dates and the times already sold out, as of Oct. 19:

• Monday, Dec. 3
• Monday, Dec. 10: SOLD OUT
• Friday, Dec. 14: SOLD OUT
• Monday, Dec. 17: SOLD OUT

Train departs promptly from King Street station in Alexandria, VA at 1:25 p.m. and includes round trip travel to Old Town Manassas, returning at 3:30 p.m. Plan to be at the event from 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m.

Tickets are $29.99 per person and must be purchased in person at the store (1719 Centre Plaza, Fairlington Shopping Centre, Alexandria). Patch cannot guarantee ticket availability.
