Paperwork filed with the City shows that PTO Seafood is looking to open a restaurant at 333 John Carlyle St.

A seafood restaurant and bar is proposed for Alexandria’s Carlyle neighborhood according to paperwork filed with the City by applicant Mike Anderson/PTO Seafood LLC.

The location is at 333 John Carlyle St., in the heart of the Carlyle neighborhood, home to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Anderson, a veteran Alexandria restaurateur probably best known as “Mango Mike,” for his longtime restaurant (now closed) with that name on Duke Street, also operates/is a partner in the Sushi Bar, Holy Cow and Pork Barrel BBQ in Del Ray and Sweet Fire Donna’s, also in the Carlyle neighborhood.

Plans calls for the new restaurant to feature indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar and an oyster bar.
