Shop And Stroll At Alexandria's Boutiques This Week

ALEXANDRIA, VA—If you missed the summer Sidewalk Sale, Alexandria's businesses are teaming up again for the Shop and Stroll promotion from Sept. 20-24.

It works like this: you print out the event passport and collect stamps at participating businesses. Once returned to a participated store, the completed passport enters you for a grand prize including a $1,000 shopping spree and one night at The Kimpton Lorien Hotel & Spa. The second prize is a $500 shopping spree.

Shoppers can also purchase an event bag for savings and goodies. The bag allows you to get discounts at participating shops, the chance to collect giveaways and a doubled chance for the grand prize. The event is hosted by the Old Town Boutique District, a group of locally-owned businesses in Alexandria.
