Skincare Business Heyday Opening Along Alexandria's King Street
Heyday, a skincare shop providing personalized facials, is opening an Alexandria location amid expansion plans around the U.S.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Heyday, a growing brand of skincare spas, will open a location along King Street in Old Town Alexandria Friday.
Heyday offers personalized facial services and sells skincare products. Started in New York, the brand now has 12 locations in the New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia areas as well as Bethesda, Maryland, and Alexandria. The brand is planning a rapid expansion with a goal of opening 300 or more shops by 2026, including additional DC area locations. Upcoming locations are planned in California, Georgia, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Texas.
Heyday's services center around its 50-minute personalized facials, which start at $140. Facials are provided in semi-private rooms by licensed estheticians, During the visit, customers will discuss their skincare goals with the estheticians, who then provide guidance for recommended skincare based on each customer's needs. Enhancements such as a professional peel, LED light therapy, Gua Sha, microdermabrasion, lip exfoliation and moisture treatment are available for an extra cost.

Another option is a membership that can be bought in store. The $109 per month membership includes a monthly facial, $20 off enhancements, 20 percent off products at signup and 15 percent off products afterward.
