Suspect In Tuesday Night Stabbing Near Braddock Road Metro Identified

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Maurice Moore, 55, of no fixed address, has been charged with malicious wounding in connection with a stabbing in Alexandria Tuesday night, police said.

According to the Alexandria Police Department, officers responded to reports of an assault at about 8:05 p.m. Tuesday on the 1200 block of Braddock Place. They found an adult man with a knife wound that was not life-threatening and quickly detained Moore, they say.

The victim was reported to have been stabbed in the neck.
