T.C. Williams High School Class Of 2019 Honored

T.C. Williams students graduated on June 15. Here's a look at the Class of 2019 and where they're going.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—The T.C. Williams Class of 2019 graduated on Saturday, June 15 at George Mason Univesity's EagleBank Arena. 757 students graduated, which includes 331 students who received advanced diplomas.

This year's valedictorian was Ana Humphrey, who won the prestigious Regeneron Science Talent Search earlier this year for her project on exoplanets. She will attend Harvard University in the fall.

Caroline Bates, the girls soccer team captain and the student with the second highest grade point average, was named salutatorian. She will be a recruit at Johns Hopkins University in the fall.

In all, 474 of the graduating seniors reported that they would attend college or join the military. Their schools include Harvard University, Yale University, Vanderbilt University, Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, Duke University and more.

  • Northern Virginia Community College – Alexandria Campus: 131 students
  • Virginia Commonwealth University: 37 students
  • Virginia Tech: 30 students
  • University of Virginia: 27 students
  • Old Dominion University: 24 students
  • Virginia State University: 15 students
  • James Madison University: 10 students

The Scholarship Fund of Alexandria gave out more than $460,000 in scholarships to over 170 T.C. Williams students and an additional $550,000 to alumni to support them in college.
