The Target Gallery Presents Lisa Kellner: Always into Now
Lisa Kellner's site-responsive Paintings in Space use the room as a canvas. The Target Gallery will host one of these artworks.
Always into Now is a site-responsive Painting in Space that uses the room as canvas. Maine-based Lisa Kellner’s work is intended to be immersive, inviting the viewer to experience the intimacy of being absorbed within a room-sized painting.
This is the first exhibition as part of Target Gallery’s New Media Invitational, which invites artists to transform the space with a site-specific installation.
The show will be up from April 16 - May 29. The opening reception will be held on April 16 from 3 to 5 pm, with Lisa Kellner speaking at 4 pm.
