Tatte Bakery & Cafe Seeks To Open On Alexandria's King Street
Tatte Bakery & Cafe, a Boston cafe that is growing in the DC region, looks to bring its brunch, coffee and pastries to Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Tatte Bakery & Cafe, a Boston-founded cafe with brunch offerings, is seeking to open a space on Alexandria's King Street.
The cafe has filed for a special use permit at 515 King Street, Suite 102, an office building. ALX Now previously reported that Douglas Development bought the building and had plans to renovate and seek new retail tenants.
Tatte Bakery & Cafe was founded by Israeli native and pastry chef Tzurit Or. The business started 15 years ago in her home as she sold her baked goods at a Boston farmers market. Since then, it has grown to 24 locations in Boston and the DC region. The Alexandria location would be the ninth in the DC region.
