Tickets Available for Saturday Night's Hunt Ball and Dinner

Tickets are still available for the Hunt Ball and Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 22 at Gadsby’s Tavern, 134 N. Royal St., in Old Town Alexandria.

The event will start with a period-inspired banquet that will feature a seasonal menu. After the dinner, participants will head to the ballroom for English Country “hunt” Dances, live music, dessert collation, gaming and a cash bar.

Regency costume suggested; cocktail attire encouraged. The Banquet begins at 5:30 pm and the Ball begins at 8 p.m. Admission is $120 for the banquet and ball, $45 for the ball.

Gadsby’s Tavern consists of two buildings, the 1785 Georgian tavern and the 1792 City Hotel. The tavern has been authentically restored to its 18th-century appearance. Notable guests included George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

Saturday’s weather for Old Town is expected to be rain-free with temps in the 40s and later in the evening, in the 30s.
