Trespassing Leads To Heavy Police Presence At Minnie Howard

Alexandria Police said the large police presence at the school Sunday was an incident of trespassing.

ALEXANDRIA, VA—The large police presence at T.C. Williams High School Minnie Howard on Sunday, July 29 was related to juveniles breaking in, Alexandria Police say.

Residents on social media questioned about numerous police cars and a helicopter in the area late Sunday. It turned out to be just an incident of trespassing.

Police attributed the police presence to the search conducted in the school. There was no apparent threat to the public.

Two 15-year-old juveniles were charged with trespassing. No significant damages have been reported.
