Unity Bridge Initiative Fall Gala

It is with great excitement and enthusiasm to announce that Unity Bridge will be holding its first Fall Gala on Saturday, November 22nd at the Embassy Suites Alexandria – Old Town from 7p.m. – 10p.m. The theme of our Fall Gala is “Tomorrow’s Change Begins with Today’s You.” The gala is a major fundraising opportunity for Unity Bridge Initiative, with funds raised from the event to benefit the upcoming projects of our organization, including, educational programs, building facilities, and increasing awareness of medical outreach to benefit impoverished youth globally.

The Fall Gala begins with dinner, followed by keynote address, Unity Bridge awards, silent auction, and ends with dancing and music by live performances. This year’s Keynote address will be given by Rhodes Scholar Dr. Monde Muyangwa, Director of the Africa Program at the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington D.C.

The funds raised from the evening will benefit numerous projects planned for the upcoming year including Unity Bridge’s Dream2Achieve Leadership Academy. The program is set up to foster and equip 30 incoming 9th graders each year, to develop everyday leadership skills in order to provide transformative change within their schools and communities; while also exposing students to the daily issues their peers face on a global stance. Students will receive hands-on projects and training from professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders from various industries.

Early bird tickets are available for the gala at $40 for a single ticket and $75 for an early bird couples ticket. Regular ticket prices are $50 and $85 respectfully. Sponsorship opportunities include a $3,500 Diamond Sponsor, $2,000 Emerald Sponsors, $1,000 Sapphire Sponsors, $500 Ruby Sponsors and $250 Supporter Sponsors. There are also a limited number of $75 Individual Sponsor tickets available.
