VDOT Announces Summer Lane Closures On I-395
The weekend closures will run into August.
ALEXANDRIA, VA – The Virginia Department of Transportation has announced summer lane closures for northbound I-395.
According to VDOT, beginning Friday night, lanes will be closing at night on northbound I-395 every weekend until August 9, with the exception of the 4th of July weekend.
VDOT says the single-lane closures will be on the bridge over the ramp to the 395 express lanes, located at Mile Marker 2. The work zone will run from Edsall Road (Route 648) to Duke Street (Route 236).

- 10 p.m. Saturday, July 11, to 10 a.m. Sunday, July 12.
- 10 p.m. Friday, July 17, to 9 a.m. Saturday, July 18.
- 10 p.m. Saturday, July 18, to 10 a.m. Sunday, July 19.
Left lane closed
- 10 p.m. Friday, July 24, to 9 a.m. Saturday, July 25.

- 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, to 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 2.
