Old Town Alexandria Restaurant's Tip Jar Stolen, Suspect Fired: Report
An Old Town Alexandria restaurant said a third-party delivery driver took a tip jar with an estimated week of tips.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — After a tip jar was stolen from an Old Town Alexandria restaurant, a third-party delivery driver identified as the suspect was fired, according to a media report.
The theft happened at Old Town North's Sunday in Saigon, which shared surveillance video of the suspect taking the tip jar. WUSA9 reported the suspect was a DoorDash delivery driver who took an estimated week of tips. DoorDash offered to provide a payment to replace the tips and indicated the driver was no longer employed.
