Wilson Drawbridge Opening to Cause Delays Near Alexandria
BREAKING: Traffic will not be able to go over the Wilson Bridge late Tuesday when the drawbridge opens for testing and maintenance.
(Updated 2:29 p.m. Tuesday) ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The opening of the Wilson Bridge at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday will affect late night travelers going to and from Alexandria on the Capital Beltway.
The bridge is opening for maintenance and testing, according to DBi Services, an Alexandria company that operates the bridge. The maintenance is expected to take a few hours, depending on traffic, so there is no set finish time yet.

Expect delays in the area on the Capital Beltway and connecting roads. Drivers traveling at the time should seek alternate routes into Maryland.
