Winter 2026 Events In Alexandria: America's 250th, Parade, Restaurant Week
From George Washington's birthday events and Black History Month to the America's 250th celebration, here's what early 2026 will bring.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — While the holiday season is one of Alexandria's busier times of the year, residents and visitors will have plenty to look forward to in the new year.
The 250th anniversary of the U.S. will be one highlight around the region. Alexandria is participating in the Virginia 250 Passport to highlight museums and historic sites around the state. America's 250th celebration in Alexandria will kick off with the George Washington Birthday Parade. History buffs will enjoy plenty more events during Black History Month and George Washington's Birthday Celebration in February and Women's History Month in March.
