About Women & Wine: Women & Wine of Alexandria, Cheers to a Good Cause was established in 2013 by three women interested in networking and mingling, drinking wine, and giving back to the community.

The event generally takes place on a Wednesday evening from 6-8:30 p.m., four to six times a year. Proceeds of this event will support volunteerism in the City of Alexandria. Today, Women & Wine is an event sponsored by Volunteer Alexandria with the same mission of inviting women, 21 years and older, to get together for wine and good company, while supporting a good cause.
