Wrap up your holiday shopping early, courtesy of the Friends of the Alexandria Commission for Women. Select from an outstanding array of handcrafted gifts created just for you, by more than 40 local female artisans. Jewelry, pottery, scarves, purses, clothing, paintings, photography, canine treats -- and much more -- will be available at this benefit for the programs supported by the Friends of the Alexandria Commission for Women and the Commission for Women. Gift cards for the Operation Elf program would be welcome. Operation Elf, a program of the Alexandria Detention Center, helps children of incarcerated parents enjoy the holidays. Charles E.
