Now Open: Woodrow Wilson Bridge Reopens After Investigation of Suspicious Package
Alexandria Police encouraged motorists to use alternate routes and expect delays Thursday night.

The Woodrow Wilson Bridge has reopened according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. VDOT sent out an alert on social media at about 10:15 p.m. that the bridge had reopened.
The bridge was shut down earlier Thursday evening in both directions for the investigation of a suspicious package.
Alexandria Police encouraged drivers to use alternate routes and expect delays.
