Young Kado Is Alexandria's Adoptable Pet Of The Week

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Peppy boy Kado is the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria’s adoptable pet of the week!

"Kado is a high-energy young pup who is looking for a home where he can thrive and really come into his own,” the AWLA says.

At just eight months old and 45 pounds, this handsome boy has a bit of growing left to do.

“Kado is looking for a family that will provide the structure, training, exercise, and enrichment he needs to grow up to be his very best self,” the AWLA says. Kado loves toys and can entertain himself, but he also loves playing fetch or tug with people. He sits nicely already and is young and ready for more training.

“Kado came to the shelter as a local stray and is now hoping to start the next chapter of his life with a family who can help him blossom. Due to his big personality, Kado would like to be the only animal in the home. If you are looking for an active, playful pup with a big personality and lots of potential, Kado could be your guy!”
